Description
This fun and empowering, anxiety management workbook is designed to help children learn about anxiety in a creative and light-hearted way. Children will engage with their worries and fears through play, creative writing, movement, art, self-reflection, and intentional, open-hearted communication with a caregiver.
This 62 page workbook is broken up into 6 weekly sections, consisting of a variety of anxiety-management techniques derived from cognitive behavioral therapy, neuroscience, mindfulness-based stress reduction, art therapy, and more.
Parental guidance, participation, and support is highly recommended. It is suggested that parents engage in the workbook assignments with their children and establish an ongoing dialogue about the material. Small kids can have big worries. It’s not easy for children to manage anxious thoughts and feelings by themselves. A parent’s guide will be offered as a bonus with this workbook to help parents better support anxious children.
